Today is a special day on The Wise Baby. The inspiration behind The Wise Baby is front and center with her amazing newborn photos captured by our friend and very talented photographer, Susan Jackson of Susan Jackson Photography. As any proud mother would, I may have gone over board with the number of photos I included in the post BUT really I should be commended for only choosing this many! I hope you enjoy. Coming up this afternoon is Eloise’s birth announcement and an exciting giveaway!
Eloise seemed to enjoy her photoshoot quite well and was so sleepy the entire time! In fact, I think she was the sleepiest she has EVER been! Susan was very patient and super creative in finding such awesome spots around our condo to shoot these photos. She pulled in some of Eloise’s watercolor nursery art for a few of the photos which was an awesome idea and I love the way the photos turned out – they totally make our condo look cooler than it is! My sweet mom had sent up some of my bloomers when I was a baby and Eloise is wearing them in the first few photos which is very special. Big brother Murphy even joined in on the fun at the end (up on the couch where he is not supposed to be). Bottom line, these photos are special to us for lots of reasons but most of all because it captures a very special time in our most loved little lady’s life. We can’t thank Susan enough for these photos we will cherish forever. xo
